20.12.2022 - In 2021, 1389 pension funds generated a net return on investments of CHF 87 billion. Consequently, the value fluctuation reserves increased to CHF 145 billion and the underfunding decreased to CHF 30 billion. The total assets of all pension funds in Switzerland amounted to CHF 1159 billion. This is according to the final results of the 2021 pension fund statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
