17.02.2022 - In 2020, the Pension Fund Statistics counted a total of 4 401 466 active members (+1.3% compared with the previous year) in Switzerland. 842 357 pensioners received an average of CHF 28 618 per year. 46 900 people requested a lump-sum or partial lump-sum payment of an average of CHF 211 038 upon retirement. These are some of the results from the Federal Statistical Office’s 2020 pension fund statistics.
