Employment barometer in the 2nd quarter 2022
In 2nd quarter 2022, the total employment (number of jobs) rose by 3.2% in comparison with the same quarter a year earlier (+0.7% compared with the previous quarter). In full-time equivalents, employment in the same period also rose by 3.2%. The Swiss economy counted 39 900 more vacancies than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (+45.5%) and the employment outlook indicator continues to indicate an upward trend (+2.3%).
