30 years of the Federal Statistics Act
2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the creation and adoption of the Federal Statistics Act (FStatA) in Switzerland. This law came into force in August 1993 and forms the basis for the Confederation's official statistical production. By marking this anniversary, the Federal Statistical Office is demonstrating the continuing and growing importance of the Statistics Act in its work.
