Employment barometer in the 3rd quarter 2021
In the 3rd quarter 2021, the total employment (number of jobs) in Switzerland rose by 1.5% in comparison with the same quarter a year earlier (+1.0% with previous quarter). In full-time equivalents, employment in the same period rose by 1.1%. The Swiss economy counted 27 700 more vacancies than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (+41.2%). The employment outlook indicator is also indicating an upward trend (+3.8%).
