Consumer prices increased by 0.6% in February

03.08.2022 - The consumer price index (CPI) remained stable in July 2022 compared with the previous month, re-maining at 104.5 points (December 2020 = 100). Inflation was +3.4% compared with the same month of the previous year. These are the results of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).

The stability of the index compared with the previous month is the result of opposing trends that counterbalanced each other overall. Prices for heating oil decreased, as did those for clothing and footwear due to seasonal sales. In contrast, prices for gas and supplementary accommodation increased.
