The Swiss Land Use Statistics provides geocoded information on the state and evolution of land use and land cover in Switzerland since 1972. In addition, GEOSTAT offers downloadable data on the Forest composition in Switzerland and the Swiss Soil Suitability Map.
The Swiss Land Use Statistics page provides the geodata and metadata of the Land Use Statistic (1979/85, 1992/97, 2004/09 and 2013/18). For each of these surveys, the state and changes in land cover and land use of each hectare of Switzerland are described according the Standard Nomenclature 2004.
