Experimental statistics: Growth in income of holders of vocational education and training certificates (LABB)

Five and a half years after finishing their three or four-year apprenticeship, certificate holders have a median gross monthly income of CHF 5 270 for a full-time job. Large differences exist between the different fields of education and training. Income is highest in the field of ‘Information and communication technologies’ (CHF 6370), but less than CHF 5000 in ‘Wholesale and retail trade’ or in ‘Personal services’.
