Contrasting trends in births, deaths, marriages and divorces in 2022
26.02.2019 - 2018 was marked by an increase in the number of divorces. There were fewer marriages, registered partnerships and deaths. There was also a decline in the number of births including those outside marriage. The same trends were seen in the cantons. These are the provisional findings of the Vital Statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
