Swiss Labour Force Survey and its derivative statistics: hours worked Over 8 billion hours worked in 2023
23.07.2024 - In 2023, 8.106 billion hours were worked in Switzerland, an increase of 1.8% compared with the previous year. Between 2018 and 2023, the actual weekly hours worked by full-time employees fell by 46 minutes on average, to 40 hours and 12 minutes. This is according to the latest results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
