Definition
The strategies for property and types of municipality form a matrix of ten cells. In the calculation of the Swiss Residential Property Price Index (IMPI), the individual cells are weighted according to their share of the total transaction volume from the previous year.
The weighting for the IMPI is revised annually. (The current values with relative weights are published in the form of a table.)
