Definition
"Property type” is a variable that the FSO collects to help calculate the IMPI. In terms of property types, the IMPI distinguishes between the two dominant forms of home ownership: single-family houses and privately owned dwellings (generally condominium ownership). This information comes from the mortgage institutions' systems.
