Transaction price

This is the amount in Swiss francs that the buyer transfers to the seller for transferring their property to them. The price is a unit price for buildings and land. It includes all buildings on a piece of land, including a garden shed, garage or car port. This is the net price, i.e. excluding transaction costs (see transaction costs).

Among all purchase prices, the survey covers only market prices (see market prices). All preferential prices such as friendship prices, previous inheritances and compulsory auctions are excluded from the survey.
