New registrations (road vehicles)

Road vehicles registered for the first time in Switzerland by owners domiciled in Switzerland. Vehicles are assigned to a canton on the basis of the owner’s address (and not on the basis of information on the registration plate). The data displayed correspond to the vehicles in the Vehicle Register on the third day of the following month (monthly data) or on the 3 January of the following year (annual data).
