Federal Subsidies in 2018 for Preparatory Courses for Federal Examinations Over 4000 persons in professional education are reimbursed CHF 16.3 million in course costs

30.03.2020 - Since 2018, persons who complete preparatory courses for a federal professional examination (levels 1 and 2) have received financial support directly from the Confederation. 50% of the course fees are reimbursed. For the first year of the new funding regime, 4096 applications for federal subsidies were approved and a total of CHF 16.3 million paid out. These are the results of the new statistics on subject-based funding in professional education from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
