Educational paths within upper secondary education Three in four pupils at upper secondary level obtain their qualification directly

Neuchâtel, 24 April 2018 (FSO) - Among pupils who started their upper secondary education in 2011, 73% obtained a qualification directly. Considerable differences were seen between the sexes, migrant statuses and social origins. These are some of the results of the study carried out by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) that describes the destinations of 78,000 students in basic vocational education and training and general education from 2011 to 2016.
