Cultural economy: cultural entreprises in 2021 Fragile recovery of the cultural economy in 2021 after the pandemic

10.10.2023 - In 2021, the number of jobs in the cultural sector rose again, but less sharply than in the economy as a whole. The added value of the cultural economy once again exceeded CHF 15 billion without, however, reaching its pre-COVID-19 level. These are some of the new findings from the statistics on the cultural economy from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
