Types of building owners in 2020 In 2020, two-thirds of residential buildings were privately owned

19.05.2022 - In 2020, around two-thirds of residential buildings (67.5%) were owned by private individuals. More than one in ten buildings were owned by legal persons (11.5%). Joint ownership (simple partnership, community of property, or ownership in undivided shares) accounted for 14.4% of properties. These are some of the findings from the new statistics on the types of building owners from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
