Groups with the highest turnover are majority foreign-controlled

27.11.2020 - At the end of 2019, 30 118 enterprises in Switzerland were part of a multinational enterprise group. They employ around 1.4 million persons which corresponds to just over a quarter of the total employment. Measured against employment and turnover, the economic sectors of manufacturing and trade predominate. These are some of the latest results of the enterprise groups statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
