Bankruptcy Statistics 2016 Decline in number of bankruptcies and financial losses in 2016

The increase in bankruptcies slowed down in 2022

Neuchâtel, 30.03.2017 (FSO) - The number of bankruptcy proceedings opened in 2016 fell compared with 2015. Total financial losses resulting from ordinary and summary bankruptcy proceedings also declined. In contrast, the number of summons to pay continued to increase. These are the latest findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) on the debt collection and bankruptcy statistics.
