Stock (road vehicles)

Total stock of licensed road vehicles on 30 September of each respective year (31 December for mopeds). All civilian vehicles registered in Switzerland and belonging to owners domiciled in Switzerland are taken into account. Vehicles are assigned to a canton based on the owner’s address (and not on the basis of information shown on the registration plate).
