Sustainable Development - MONETPostulates of Sustainable Development
The postulates indicate the direction to be taken in order to create and maintain sustainable development. They form the frame of reference that is used to assess the sustainability of observed developments.
The postulates are assigned to the three goal dimensions of “social solidarity”, “economic efficiency” and “ecological responsibility”, and they are classified into 20 areas. They provide information about meeting needs and preserving stocks of capital, and also about the efficiency and fairness with which needs are met and resources are used.
