Even when they have the same qualifications, women are systematically paid less than men: wage gaps vary between 12% and 20% depending on the level of skills required for the job. In the private sector, women are paid less than men even when they have the same education and the same occupational position. Depending on their educational level, they earn between 10% (elementary school teaching certificate) and 24% (university) than men. In the same occupational position, women's salaries are 12% (lowest management level) and 29% (top and upper management) lower than men's.
