Election Atlas 2011An interactive statistical atlas of the Swiss National Council elections 2011

Introduction

As part of its services on the federal elections in 2011 External website. Content opens in new window., the Federal Statistical Office is making available a modern e-atlas in two languages on the topic of the National Council elections. The Political Atlas provides a cartographic visualisation of the electoral strength of the main parties and party groups together with previous electoral results going back to 1919.

Technical information

You must have the Adobe Flash plug-in installed on your computer in order to be able to display the content of the atlas. This is usually pre-installed in your PC. After you start the atlas, a plug-in check begins automatically. If this is not successful or if you have other technical questions, please go to the technical requirements page.

A detailed overview of the classification by themes of the atlas can be found in the general index on the main page. From there, it is also possible to access maps on certain subjects.
