Contains options to look up values, change regionalisation and customise map design, as well as a wide range of navigation functions.

The online version of the Political Atlas of Switzerland visualises all results of Swiss federal popular votes and National Council elections since 1991 at the municipal, district and cantonal levels. The maps are updated every year and stand out, like the Statistical Atlas of Switzerland, for their interactivity and user-friendliness.

Annually updated maps in poster format, available as printed posters, in PDF or Illustrator format. Contains: limits of all cantons, districts and communes in Switzerland, exclaves, lakes, official names and FSO codes for communes and districts.

ThemaKart cartographic bases

ThemaKart cartographic bases 2010

Two rich collections of digital cartographic bases (geometries). Suited as base maps for various small-scale thematic maps. Based on the geographic divisions used in official statistics and updated annually since 2000.

REGIONAL DATA contains statistical portraits for all Swiss cantons and communes. Users have the option of either comparing statistical portraits in table format or obtaining more detailed statistical data on individual cantons and communes.

Statistical data can be viewed from many different angles thanks to thematic maps and interactive atlases.

The fieldbox on the right-hand side of the screen contains a link to the Guidebook, which explains the various Regional Data features in greater detail.
