The graphical user interface (GUI) of Stat@las Europe is based on the Flash technology developed by Adobe. Flash allows
interactive, vector-based content to be generated quickly and dynamically in any form. The atlas database (statistical and geometrical data) uses .XML objects which are loaded, processed and converted to the optimum screen display when the atlas is started. All contents displayed are managed within the Platform Stat@las Content Managament System.
