Additional information
The graphical user interface of Stat@las Europe is based on the Flash technology developed by Macromedia and Adobe. Flash allows interactive, vector-based content to be generated quickly and dynamically in any form. The atlas database (statistical and geometrical data) is made available using XML objects which are loaded, processed and converted to the optimum screen display when the atlas is started.
