STAT-TAB – The interactive statistics database
STAT-TAB presents the results from the surveys in a new and user-friendly application. The data are presented in data cubes with variables that can be interactively combined (in German and French).

Graphs and charts as well as interactive options lend new life to statistics and make numbers (more) meaningful. Diagrams can be used for visual explanations and presentation formats that can be individually shaped make complex relationships easier to understand. These visual and interactive representations can be found in various places on the Swiss Statistics website and are summarised below. We invite you to take a look, because a chart can often say more than a thousand tables!

As part of its international range of products and services, the Federal Statistical Office is offering a multilingual, online atlas of current European statistical themes.

Salarium - Personal wages calculator 
The personal wages ‘Salarium’ is an interactive application which allows you to obtain for a specific job (economic branch, region etc) and for a selection of individual characteristics (age, level of education etc.) various salary information and a comparison with personal salary data (in German, French and Italian).
The personal inflation calculator uses the same price trends as for the national index but weighted according to the expenditure shares indicated by the user (in German, French and Italian).
National Consumer Price Index Inflation Calculator 
With this application you can calculate amounts indexed in the national index (e.g. alimony payments, pensions, etc) or the rate of inflation over a specific period. You can choose to use index series with annual averages (as of 1915) or monthly averages (as of 1921) for your calculations (in German, French and Italian).
The Cercle Indicateurs (Cercle indicators) is a platform for the development and application of sustainable development indicators for Swiss towns and cantons (in German and French).
The Swiss Federal Council's Sustainable Development Dashboard 
The Sustainable Development Dashboard, inspired by the instrument panel of a car or aeroplane, enables progress of the eleven key challenges in the Federal Council's 2008-2011Sustainable Development Strategy to be measured at a glance (in German and French).
