Enquiries, Sources – Reconciliation between work and family life (module in the Swiss Labour Force Survey SLFS)Overview

Short description The  «Reconciliation between work and family life» module collects data on the subjective assessment of individuals' labour participation and the relationship between possible lack of available extra-familial care for children or adults.  In 2012 questions will also be asked on flexible working conditions in connection with care responsibilities and on career-breaks or working time reduction due to childcare responsibilities. The module is conducted according to Eurostat specifications with the exception of parental leave for which there is no nationwide regulation. The take-up of extra-familial childcare is also included in the module for Swiss needs.
