Enquiries, Sources – Industry and Services Indices Project (IID)Overview

Short description The goal of the IID project is to bring production, turnover and orders indices into line with international standards, to expand the collection of turnover figures to the service sector and to modernise the statistical evaluation system. The following guidelines are relevant: 
  • Meeting the requirements for compliance with the European Union's economic statistics
  • Making better use of secondary data
  • Promoting and utilising available technical resources to reduce the burden on enterprises
  • Integrating the product in the production process
  • Extending available information and making it more attractive (basic product and analytical product) and developing similar instruments
The IID project comprises four statistical modules:
