Swiss statistical publications

Statististical Yearbook of Switzerland

  • The "Statistical Yearbook of Switzerland" (German/French) has been the standard reference book for Swiss statistics since 1891. It contains the most important statistical findings regarding the Swiss population, society, government, economy and environment.
  • The 2011 issue presents in an english supplement the main statistical findings for our international readers. Statistics reveal the current status of Swiss demographics and society as well as the Swiss economy and the environment. They also reveal how things have changed over time.
  • The reference book is illustrated with four-coloured graphics and is both easy to read and use. An electronic version of the Statistical Yearbook of Switzerland, edition 2011, is also available on CD-ROM. It is complemented by two statistical atlases.

Swiss Statistics series

  • The "Swiss Statistics series" is a general term referring to all of the SFSO's print publications in German, French, Italian or English. These publications cover all twenty-two of the key topics in official statistics. There are publications showing only tables, commented reports on surveys and academic papers on statistical methods.

Subscriptions

The SFSO offers subscriptions to many of its electronic and print publications: Subscribers can receive monthly and yearly publications or regular, in-depth reports on specific themes. The SFSO currently has about 36,000 subscribers.
