Family

The topic of family is relevant to describe integration, particularly with regard to family arrangements. The indicators reveal differences in terms of extra-family childcare and reconciling work and family life.

Help for interpretation: Women with a migration background, especially those of the first generation, work more often full-time than women without a migration background. With regard to extra-family childcare, households with a migration background use more often a day care centre or extra-school care than households without such a background, who rely more often on grandparents.
